Katie Bennett

The Manager at Farley, Steeple Langford is Katie Bennett. Katie has held the CASHE Diploma and NVQ level 3 in Early Years Childcare since 2005. Katie loves how Farley reflects her own upbringing, exploring the outdoor environment, making dens and climbing trees. Katie joined us in 2012 as the Manager at our nursery in Farley and is very pleased to now be bringing her little one to Farley Steeple Langford, to have the chance to explore and enjoy the outdoor environment as much as she did!

Mel Nicholls

Mel runs the office over at Steeple Langford and has over 12 years of administrative experience, working for the MOD before having a career break, Mel has brought up 2 lovely children, one of which now attends our holiday club. Mel joined Steeple Langford in the summer of 2015. Mel loves it here at Farley, she wishes there was nursery like this when her children were small.

Sophie Stokes

Sophie is the Room Supervisor for Marigold, our very busy baby room. Sophie originally joined us as a student when Steeple Langford first opened, she then became a full time member of staff gaining her NVQ level 3 and is always smiling! Sophie loves the freedom the babies have to be outside and explore their environment, and the way they develop their personalities and grow in confidence whilst at Farley. Sophie thinks it’s the best start any baby can have in life!

Jess Large

Jess is the Room Supervisor for Merrygrove where our children are 18 months-2 years old. Jess qualified in 2009 and originally joined the team over at Farley. After a brief spell working in another nursery, Jess realised that outdoor learning really does provide the best start for all children in life and she now couldn’t imagine working anywhere else.

Laura Boatwright

Laura is the Room Supervisor for our busy 2 year old room Bee Garden and also our Deputy Manager. Laura qualified with her NVQ level 3 in 2010 and started working in the Bee Garden team in October 2012. Laura is friendly and fun and the children often say “Laura is my best friend”. Laura believes that Farley is the best style of learning, as the children are free to choose what they want to do by exploring and playing. Laura loves being outside and watching the Bee Garden children grow and develop!

Nikki Guest

Finally, the last move is into Top Conker, where Nikki Guest is the Supervisor. Nikki helps the children prepare for their move to “big school.” Nikki currently holds NVQ level 3 in Early Years Childcare and has been working in childcare since 2002. Nikki loves the magic of teaching children in an outdoor environment, where their imagination is easy to fire. Nikki feels that “Farley allows the freedom to be who or what we want to be, making the children’s learning and my job FUN!”
