Amy is our Deputy Manager and under 2’s Supervisor. Amy is the full proof that hard work pays off! Amy started her career as a nursery trainee at Steeple Langford over 7 years ago where she completed her Level 3 in Childcare and Amy’s potential shone through. Amy was promoted to become the Room Supervisor of Marigold and Merrygrove (the under 2’s) at Sparsholt in September 2014 and completed a BA in Childhood Studies in 2017. Amy has an incredible knowledge of the baby room and of Sparsholt due to her hardworking approach! Amy says “I love to see the babies flourish when they play outside in all weathers. To start a child’s nursery life with us in the baby room, and then to be a part of their first physical steps, on the journey to who they become as a person is wonderfully rewarding.”
Megan has been working within the Sparsholt team since March 2018 and has recently been promoted to be the Room Supervisor of Bee Garden. She completed her BA in Childhood, Youth and Community Studies in 2016. Megan is looking forward to leading the children through their time in Bees and seeing them flourish and grow over the year. Megan says “seeing the children come to us from the Baby room or as new two-year olds and how they develop, and grow is wonderful! They have so much fun exploring the outside environment and always amaze us with their play, imaginations and love for being outdoors no matter the weather”.
Laura joined the Sparsholt in September 2017 as a member of the Top Conker team. Laura gained her Level 3 qualification and is now studying towards a BA in early Years. Laura is very excited to be leading the children in their final year at Farley. When asked about her role at Farley Laura said “It’s amazing how much the children change throughout the year in Top Conker. They grow in independence and resilience and learn to play kindly with their Farley friends. Our favourite thing to do is sliding down the muddy hill in the winter and splashing in the paddling pool during the summertime, where else can you work and have that much fun!”
