Each location has a fabulous team of practitioners, all highly qualified and dedicated professionals.

Sue and Gary founded Farley Nursery School in 2006, based on the Scandinavian outdoor approach to early years education.
Sue’s vision was to return to the traditional childhood values of healthy outdoor play that she had experienced. A huge leap from mainstream indoor learning where children can have as little as ten minutes, twice a day to play outside. This passion for, and commitment to child-centred learning has seen a wonderful growth in the number of children attending the schools. Two additional schools in Steeple Langford and more recently, Sparsholt, have since opened, offering a choice of locations across Wiltshire and Hampshire.

Each location has a fabulous team of practitioners, all highly qualified and dedicated professionals.

The team is led by Sue Palmer BA (hons), a fully qualified teacher and an early years professional, who has worked in early years for over 20 years. Sue is passionate about outdoor learning and has spoken at and chaired conferences on the subject all over the UK. Sue’s husband Gary focuses on developing the business and is at his happiest when narrating the Nativity or cooking the sausages for the Dad’s breakfast!
