Ofsted Report

Synopsis cont...

Parents are asked to provide a healthy packed lunch for their child. Other healthy snacks will be provided during the day for the children. We have found that children enjoy such foods as hummus with crudités and bread sticks, different fruits and vegetables, noodles (eaten with chopsticks) and pasta. Afternoon snacks will often consist of treats that the children have made for themselves, using fresh produce from our garden where possible. Children will often try different foods if they have helped to prepare it themselves. Breakfast cereal, hot toast and toasted teacakes will be offered to children who arrive at the Nursery early or leave late.

We are delighted to be able to offer our Sensory Room for Baby Massage and Reflexology sessions. We have qualified adults who lead small groups of parents with their babies in the art of massage and who can offer other holistic therapies. These sessions are a wonderful way to reduce stress and make young babies feel nurtured and valued.

The sessions are open to anyone with a child or young baby and can be booked in advance through the office.
