Farley Rangers are for children who like to explore the outdoors and come to Farley to make the most of the large amount of space and surrounding resources that we are lucky enough to have here. You don’t have to have come to Farley as a nursery to become one of our Rangers, lots of our long standing children bring along their friends from school and enjoy their time here together.
Our Rangers, as well as using the large fields at both our Farley and Steeple Langford nurseries, go on trips to the local Parks, use the woods behind Farley School for Woodland Days and go on trips to the Langford Lakes.
Over the summer of 2014 the Rangers enjoyed Woodland Days, going on scavenger hunts, making dens and exploring army ration packs and camouflage paints; this made for an exciting game of Hide and Seek! They also made fossils using plaster casts, a volcano that really did erupt and even created their own river which they aptly named the Yelraf River (Farley backwards).
Activities do vary between the settings but you may attend both if you would like to get the best of both worlds. We are always planning ahead so please ring in advance to guarantee a place for your child in the school holidays.
Our Rangers are for children of school age up to and including 9 years of age However we also run a holiday club in the school holidays for those under 5 who would like to come and explore Farley.
Please ring either our Farley or Steeple Langford nursery to book in for the upcoming school holiday or if you require any further information.
