Farley May 2017 Newsletter
Well, what lovely warm weather we have been having!! Of course, we are waiting for the spring showers to come but it has been lovely for the children to play in their uniforms rather than their waterproofs.
This month we have had a visit from the fantastic Tina who is our Community Police officer. She showed the children a variety of police hats that they were able to try on. They were also able to sit in the in the Police car and experience the siren and the blue lights.
It was a delight to have the Rangers in for the Easter break. We will welcome them back in the summer months.
To celebrate Easter, we had the Easter Bunny come and visit and also a Easter egg competitions. Congratulations to:
- Albie for the Under 2’s
- Tilly for Bee Garden
- Jack H for Top Conker
- Ella for Rangers
- Kris for the Parents
Congratulations to Lizzy and her partner Terry on the Birth of their daughter Evie Rose, weighting a whopping 9lb 12oz!! We would also like to congratulate Louise on becoming a Grandma.
Due to the weather getting warmer we have erected the marque on the field.
I would like to remind parents that if you require extra sessions or to extend your session at the beginning or the end of the day we require advance notice please. If you turn up with your child it puts the team in a very difficult position and, as you are very aware we have strict ratios that we legally must abide to. I do understand that things can pop up expectantly however and we will accommodate your needs where possible.
If your child is over two years old then uniform in mandatory, please speak to your child’s keyperson or Jo who will be happy to help you purchase the Farley Uniform. We now have Farley sweatshirts which are super snuggly and soft. Children are required to wear uniform every time they attend Farley please.
The weather is also becoming warmer although the mornings can still be chilly. Please make sure that your child is dressed accordingly and please check the weather to make sure that you have packed appropriate spare clothing. Please make sure your child has shoes as well as wellies and that they are equipped with a thin waterproof. The children are becoming very hot in their winter, fleece lined waterproofs but still need a thin waterproof layer when it is dewy in the morning (or for spring showers).
A general reminder about uniform and spare clothes.
We have some new team members I would like to welcome.
All the best from Nic and all of the team at Farley.
